A Heritage in Health to Discover

» Musée des Hospitalières de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal

600 objects from the collection of the Hospitallers of St.Joseph, of Hôtel-Dieu, relate a history forever entwined with that of Montreal.

Guided tours are available for groups and students from grade schools to universities.

The Musée des Hospitalières de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, inaugurated in 1992, commemorates the 350th anniversary of the foundation of Montreal.

Casting off... to discover the Lachine Canal (Heritage boat tour)

Join us aboard the Navark Dollier-de-Casson for a cruise along the Lachine Canal. Transit the locks, enjoy stunning views of the downtown area, and relive the history of the canal.

PHOTO EXHIBITION: “Architectural Heritage of Pointe-Claire”

Discover the diverse styles that make up your architectural heritage. The photographs on display will delight architecture enthusiasts or anyone interested in the history of Pointe-Claire.

This photo exhibit starts September 26 and ends October 12 2008, during the cultural Center's opening hours.  Some photographs included in this exhibition were initially part of an architectural inventory prepared by the firm Patri-Arch.

Tour of the Exhibit Damoiselle Mance

The exhibition unveils the life and work of Jeanne Mance (1606-1673) co-founder of Montréal, founder of the Hôtel-Dieu and Canada's first secular nurse.

The exhibition can be visited individually during the museum's opening hours. A guided tour can also be reserved for groups.
